Loved the rest of the series but this wasn’t for me. I didn’t care enough for the side characters to continue on with the story. It felt like an extended epilogue with a plot that had only minor complications especially compared to the other four books.

I might return, I am just not invested in their relationship at allllll, Ari seems immature and Noah just seems in another league. At this point I don’t even understand how they hold a conversation. I’m rooting for Chase at this point because at least when he’s “on-screen” something interesting is happening.

The new narrator is bland and brings nothing to Malakai’s character which was half of the enjoyment of the first book for me.
The plot of this book is a play by play replica of the first book? Strange decision. Especially considering how long the timeframe of their relationship is. There is huge space and opportunities to write about other events but no, we get nothing new

Ok so this might be a personal thing. I liked this and the concept enough. The world building was slightly confusing to me but overall I was intrigued. The reason I put it down was because it started to lean towards “I love you too much to participate in my kink” (in this case voyeurism). Which I think is a weak sub plot and I hate it. Like why is it such a bad thing that it needs to be “fixed” by true love

ugh I had to put this down (for now) cuz the FMC was pissing me off. I couldn’t understand what her character was. She just ended up seeming kid of pathetic in the end. The MMC was great as well as everyone else but like idk how she flips from terrified of the dark pretty much, to riding down town on a scooter. Also does she actually care her friend is kidnapped? Or just when it’s convenient for the plot?

I’m putting this down for now….. low key don’t like the FMC… if she refers to herself as “dragon Rachel” once more I might just die from cringing so hard
