I like this line. I feel like this isn’t talked about enough in society

I feel like this woman is far too comfortable with strangers. Ester seems sweet but I’d be weary of everyone if I was in that situation.

“Throttle” makes sense is this modern day romance. It does not make sense in a mid evil fantasy story.

So far there’s really good showing vs telling, when it comes to setting, family history, etc.

A better inciting incident would have been if Frayria would have crossed The Children of the Blessed, and then they forced her to be a human mail ordered bride, like the one they talked about in the beginning of the book that never returned. The original incident makes no sense. 🚨spoiler🚨 Why would a lethal warrior be kind to someone who killed their friend?!
