Happy Place is definitely a slow burn, and it took me a little while to settle into the story. But once it found its rhythm, I was reminded why Emily Henry is one of my favorite authors. Her writing is beautiful and effortless, and she has a way of making ordinary moments feel deeply meaningful. Her books always feel like a mug of hot cocoa on a rainy day: warm and comforting. Happy Place is no exception.

For a second book I feel that it’s a bit slow to get going.

So far this is the slowest Emily Henry book for me

It is lovely being back in the Emily Henry world of just a fun angsty but easy romance.

This book actually exceeded my personal expectations by light years! I know it was hyped up but I did not expect it to be as good as it was and the twists and turns. Really great book and I can’t believe this was her first book! I look forward to reading more but Caro.

It’s in interesting one that can get lost in quick enough.

I get the feeling this will be a top three of her books for me!

Just really on the cusp of it picking up!

Just hit the second part of the book, it’s good but I haven’t falling in love with this one

I did not know I was looking for a hockey romance but apparently I was! I also, did not fully know what I was signing up for in this book, but that’s on me Dr. Emily Rath warned me in the beginning! It’s 5/5 book for me I’ve read over 300 pages in less than a day. Also, please read the one night first!!!!

If highly recommend the audio on the book. Currently on Chapter 25 😊
