Really wanna give Magnolia the benefit of the doubt with things, but she acts so oblivious to things sometimes, or consciously avoids them - specifically with Christian. This book is alot 😅🫠

This is yearning and heartbreak. Granted they keep doing this to each other unnecessarily BUT im still here for it. I think it will start to get old here soon as we approach halfway but lets see..

idk. Why does this book feel like there is nothing built between Scarlet and Lukas except what they both like to do in the bedroom, also this all feels very centered around Pen who i feel like we know more than the FMC?? not sure i can keep going. Just not pulled in..

I fear I’m obsessed with Miles & Daphne. I can’t put this book down.

The writing is top tier. My first Emily Henry, and i feel like the bones are HERE all the tropes i love. But i think this issue is me, im not obsessively loving it. I've been in a reading slump and i fear its effecting this. BUT still really liking it.

Her sister went missing. Now she is a true crime podcaster. I’m already hooked in.

I’m liking it, BUT I feel like there is so much missed opportunity for more depth, it jumps and skims of part where it could have been more deep. It feels like it glosses over parts that would have changed the story dramatically.

Ok but how am I already into this??? Chapter one. First Abby book and already love the writing. 🙏🏻

I’m reallllly into the characters, the banter and the plot. BUT it feels like the pacing is wild af. It’s so fast, and sometimes I’m confused what’s happening minute to minute because it feels like things are left out????

okay i was into it, but now im struggling with the pace.

I wanted deep & emotional. Yearning and forbidden. Which yes this series is. But damn I’m struggling with the FMC wants to be an adult but acts like a child & this whole triangle is kinda effed up on both FMC & MMCs part so idk.
