I like the romance in my book. The romance is slowly building, but it's mostly about fighting monsters, which makes it exciting.

I predict that while they are looking for a solution, they will mabe find the source of the problem.

The main character in "These Violent Delights," I would say she is courageous because she is willing to risk her life to stop the monsters in her city.

They bump over one another and skitter about in random fashion, but en masse, they are all moving in one direction: toward the water.
En Masse: means all together or in a group.

In the Book "Violent Delights." The protagonist is Juliette

The setting in my book is about a monster roaming the streets, killing people. So the main character (Juliette) is trying to stop with someone's help.

That she has left a guy named Paul.

"I'm glad we could resolve this matter so promptly."

"Wait, no-"
"Goodbye now..." Juliette pretended to think. "Peter? Paris?"
"Paul," he supplied, frowning.
