I love the illustrations in this book, so so stunning

I'm seeing crossover between this series and Cruel Prince. How the Faerie fruit is irresistible

So much action has happened already

God this book is so good, I hate the main character and yet I feel so much sympathy for her

Her inner dialogue is so evil, I'm giggling to myself

less than a hundred pages left and I genounely cannot tell you how this will end

This plot is kinda slow but my god it is depressing

After finishing 'Picture Imperfect' and 'The Illustrated Mum', I told myself I'd reread Jaqueline Wilson novels.

Why?

1. Jacqueline Wilson was my childhood, I had all of her novels.

2. Her books are so weirdly traumatising that I hardly picked up on it as a kid. For example, reading 'The Illustrated Mum' and that whole section on how Marigold painted herself white to be normal was a BPD episode, what the fuck guys
