My trashy summer side-read to balance out East of Eden LOL. Honestly very entertaining and silly…it’s giving Agatha Christie’s Hercule Perot meets Love Island meets… epic movie.

Begging Meredith to get a better proofreader or editor next book…I’m catching a few missing and misspelled words. Takes me out of it a little 😭

Cryingggg. I feel for little Maureen and Brian being left.

If I ever find myself questioning if I’m a good parent or not, I’ll remember the Walls’ parents…and realize I deserve an award in comparison. Holy hell. The fact they own land and a home but would rather keep both and not sell either, and not live in said home—due to their own idiocy—while their kids live in squalor and are unfed most days…their reasoning is astoundingly stupid.

This is the most I’ve ever enjoyed a depressing novel.

Moving slowly with this one…quickly becoming one of my favorite books.

I feel like I’m trudging along with this one. I vacillate between interest and boredom. Currently in-between but will continue.

Cash weaves humor in so gnaturally, every page. I’m impressed and thoroughly entertained.
