I am pleasantly surprised at the depth of the MMC. Usually I read books where they gloss over the process that the main character goes through something such as take a wedding ring off after their spouse died... it's refreshing and well written.

I am a good way through this, I wish Winnie would find her backbone. She is a hardass business woman, and while I get that family is weird and they do something to you that no one else can.... but I wish she had more of a backbone. Letting these people live in her house I mean come on 🤦‍♀️

Definitely getting better. I don’t know why she feels the need to lie, but I’m enjoying the banter and the story

My initial impressions are the FMC has a huge chip on her shoulder. And yes we get it, you’re the first person to go to college in your family, so was I. 4 paragraphs seem unnecessary.
