This book is so easy to feel emotionally invested w all the characters. You can tell Rebecca got insight from actual families who dealt with the storyline (confirmed in author’s note). I’m trying to prepare for the worst since everyone, including Rebecca, explicitly stated this book is devastating. Pray for me as I go into these last few chapters.

So far I’m reeaalllyy loving this book. It’s fantasy-ish world building in a sports romance. That is as cool as it gets.
I know this is Fourth Wing meets Formula 1, but occasionally the lingo reminds me of horseback riding culture. I think it’s beautiful that dragon racing is so niche, yet still able to relate to most readers who like sports romances.
Can’t wait to dive deeper
