It’s so peaceful I feel like I did a complete 180 between this book and “Behooved.”

Actually really happy that this is one of those transformation books where they address that, if a person transforms/shape-shifts, they will loose their clothes. I feel like too much shape-shifting media just magically works the clothing into the transformation without explanation

Love a good enemies-to-lovers where the fmc is sassy but the mmc is sassier

Already enjoying this much more than the last book. Love a good forced political marriage plot line

I don’t know what happened but suddenly in this last 4th of the book there was an attempted rape, a wedding, French and (implied) Mexican spies, three sex scenes, and a murder. Like everything just came crashing down and I’m just so lost

It’s him calling her “his little wife” that grosses me out

Not the best engagement proposal but thank god their relationship is finally progressing

I keep going back and forth on if the political topics brought up in this book are worded well or too cliche-ly for its age-range. The wording feels like a YA novel but I know it’s not. It’s ok for now, but I’m waiting for something interesting to happen.

I’ve picked up this book with the intention to read it at least ten times now, and each time I’ve found something more interesting instead. This book haunts me on my shelf and I can’t take it anymore.

So this book has issues, still pretty fun, nice plane read, but it’s most horrific crime is the main character being named MISERY and NOBODY seems to think that that’s weird. Only ONE guy and he’s a douche character anyway, but nobody else has any concerns about it. No wonder this girl got bullied
