Pope is redeeming himself with this discussion about psychological/physical consumption as a metaphor for love. I am so sick of penis and penetration talk thank god for something new.

Every time I read another portion of this I think, “Maybe this time it’ll be so interesting that it doesn’t feel like pulling teeth would be better than reading this,” and then I look at the clock and realize it took me 3hrs to read 40 pages of this godawful book. And I’m not even done.

Like actually it’s so good. It keeps getting BETTER I’m obsessed.

Guys. Guys. I cannot stress enough how perfect this book is. It’s like when I read Behooved but BETTER!! Constantly throws in Greek and Roman myth refs, classic fairy-tale refs, even some Shakespeare?!? AND the protagonist is so great, love all the characters honestly. Like I feel like this book was made for me, and it’s been a long time since I’ve found a book like that!!!

I will finish this book before Saturday so help me.
