I’m only stopping here to say that this book has mentioned women’s chests literally I think six times in the span of sixteen pages. I do hope this eventually stops, but right now I can’t see that happening

I read a big chunk of this on a trip to the Turner Contemporary today. Honestly I'm really enjoying it so far :))

I'm just pausing here, at the end of the first chapter of part ten, to say what the fuck - I am crying. My heart is breaking.

Just pausing my reading to say the paragraph talking about remembering vs forgetting on this page is just like, holy shit. Like, this isn't the first time I've thought "holy shit" whilst reading this book, but like, I'm honestly so annoyed I didn't pick this book up sooner??

I would’ve kept reading atm but my eyes are incapable of focusing on words. Been good so far tho

I have a theory. I did try to write out what said theory is with spoiler tags hiding it but apparently those don't work on updates so >:(((

Okay. So I think I held off on this book for way too long? Because it’s actually really good so far. I’ve only read the first part ‘The Lovers’, but I’m already so hooked. Like I only stopped here cause I need to do a few things but I wanna consume this

I seem to spend so much time with the books that I truly enjoy. With every turn of the pages of those books I’m implored to savour them, to cherish their presence and exist with them in my own time. That’s sorta how I’m feeling about this book at the moment.
