Finding myself reading thrillers and mysteries again — The intro got me hooked but I absolutely need to sleep

Done with book 4. It was a solid 5 stars up until the last chapter.. what the hell was that reaction? It was explored so poorly too. Anyway, I’m giving it 4 stars.

Just finished Sidetracked, the second book, and I’m going to say I fully expected that ending / cliffhanger but I’m overall enjoying the story a lot. 4.5 stars for that one tbh >>

eh, I’d call the police if someone was smearing blood all over my products at my convenience store

I have no idea where this is going, at this point every chapter is just a retelling of the same story but from different povs.
Not pointless as they have some context to fill in other parts of the story + I’m quite actually enjoying it. It hasn’t been overdone so far and the writing is pretty good.
