I'm enjoying getting to know Celaena and our world. Yrene was an interesting and different character to follow. I did miss Sam in this one though. Hopefully we'll see him again in a later story or in the main series.

I was so scared of this book as someone who doesn't read a ton of high fantasy. The first part (like the first four chapters) I definitely had to just sit down and read and be okay with being confused but now I'm eating this up. Trials, animals, politics, who knows what else is coming. So glad I decided to pick this one up.
