This book is sad and infuriating.

I’m gonna finish the audiobook but she really is just grasping at excuses for her son hiding his racism and bigotry from her and the family by saying he was depressed??? Like that’s an excuse???
And she is still really pushing the rhetoric that Dylan wasn’t a willing participant just as much as Eric was.

I am very up and down with this book. On one hand, you can tell how guilty Sue feels not seeing the signs that her son was going down a dangerous path but then, she contradicts this by saying Dylan was coerced by Eric to participate in the massacre.
Unsure if I’ll finish this. I almost feel guilty reading this woman say that Dylan wouldn’t have done this if it weren’t for Eric. He is equally as guilty.

Eating this up. So good so far

DNF at 28%. God this book was so bad. I feel like if I was 16 years old reading this I’d eat this up like it was nothing but it is so ridiculous. I find myself eye rolling at every single word the two of these characters are saying to each other. I really tried to get to the end and give it a chance since it’s only 13 chapters but at this point it’s really pissing me off listening to this.

I hate it so far but I’m holding on to see if it gets better

This doesn’t have great reviews and I hate romances but I need a quick audiobook to listen to on the way to work so we will see how this goes.

Yeah this book isn’t gonna last long in my hands. Eating it up
