Too heartbreaking. I need a break.

I’m 47% into On Wings of Blood and struggling to stay engaged. The beginning hooked me, but now the plot is dragging. We’ve got a half-fae girl in vampire school, bonded to a prince, with her dead mother literally in her head—and yet somehow, nothing’s happening. The mystery of the dragons is stalled, the romantic tension is predictable, and the worldbuilding has become repetitive. Something needs to happen.

Very boring

This is feeling very familiar to "My sisters keepers,' and I'm not sure if I can finish it. I'm getting all the feels and I don't think I read a book ever that has made me feel this heartbroken and sad for a character so early on. I'm shocked this is Rebecca Yarros. This is not what I know her for.

Ugh feeling all the intense emotions and I'm only 50 pages in !!
