This book has me completely sucked in. There are a few scenes that make me cringe a little but also giggle (wont spoil anything but please tell me when you’re there😂), but maybe it’s because I’m a 30+ y/o child that sold her soul to the God Of The Internet.

#Mild Spoilers… Look, I do love this series but Aelin’s arrogance is grinding my gears. How a 20 y/o with such power and title as Queen just does her own thing not consulting ANY of her plans and schemes with her court - who are, mind you - seasoned in war and lived for 100s of years, and all those plans go brilliantly well?? It doesn’t make her any better than Erawan and Maeve…

Been on and off reading whilst away! There are some really good scenes but it hasn’t been exciting me as much as the other books. But knowing SJM I’m sure the last 100 pages will unleash chaos

Unfortunately, I have been very busy with not much time or mental capacity to read. Still very much enjoying this and hope to pick it back up again very soon!

Ok maybe it is not for the young as I initially thought, haha!! It took me a bit to get into the writing style and pace but I am so hooked now. A lovely easy read

Very early into the book, it’s a very different pace to the other books i read. It is definitely written for a younger audience so adjusting my mindset and it hopefully being an easy and enjoyable read

Havent had much time to read but still enjoying this book! Eager to know where it is heading
