In really having to take my time with this book. The structure is so different to what I normally read and I have to slow down to make sure I’m taking everything in properly.

I’m thoroughly enjoying it, reading the different perspectives of each character. They all feel so alive with Bernadine’s writing.

The lengths people will go to for desire.

Book 1 is a tough act to follow and Book 2 seems to be struggling a bit.
