The beginning of this book felt like a slog. I had to push myself to keep going. But the farther I got the more I liked it and the last page definitely left me smiling. True, not a lot happens for much of the book, but surprisingly once the action begins, I was into it. Some of the writing is quote worthy and influenced my own introspection--searching for joy and gratitude to be alive in this remarkable world.
