hello! so i fear i said i was going to reread throne of glass, but i re-did my tbr jar, and have decided to to monthly picks! this is book 1/3 that i pulled for january! and book 2 of my 2026 tbr jar challenge! i’m scared for this one because of the mixed reviews, but i think it has a lot of potential! review to come soon!

hellooooo! This is my second book of my 2026 TBR JAR challenged and I am genuinely SO scared! I read this book around the same time last year and loathed it so much. To be fair, I have read up to QoS now and I love it, so I'm thinking this is my perfect chance to give the OG another shot! I love how the Throne of Glass books progressively get scarier, so I think this one will be more of a cozy little winter re-read!

pre-read: i am honestly so excited to read this one. i hardly get read contemporary romances, but this was really something i was looking forward to. childhood friends? fake dating? ice skating? it sounds amazing.
