This book is SO amazingly helpful--what a wonderfully thorough, holistic approach to planning that all-too-brief but deeply significant start to the rest of your married life together! I recommend this to anyone who is engaged. The sooner you read it, the sooner it'll start helping you.

This is a sort of memoir/devotional; a woman sharing her story of growing maturity in her journey with the Lord. There's treasure here, folks. :-)

Ok, cheesy title, yes, I know. I'm not very far in yet, but so far this book is sound and I'm finding some good ideas...

The chapter entitled, "Why We Must Think Rightly About God" is excellent. "A right conception of God is basic not only to systematic theology but to practical Christian living as well."... "A god begotten in the shadows of a fallen heart will quite naturally be no true likeness to the true God."

signs of impending deterioration include, "an orientation to the dry rules of business school rather than a value orientation that takes into account such things as contribution, spirit, excellence, beauty, and joy"

I'm loving this book so far! Just a few chapters in as of yet, but I've got Christmas break ahead and many a happy reading hour in my future. :)

I want to know understand why I can't put this book down, even though very little is actually happening in the plot! How does Robinson DO that?

This book is about Story and the journeys of life. Filled with both very-familiar and fresh concepts, yet even the familiar ones take on a new life from watching Miller's first discovery of them. I read this while writing (in my own life) a spontaneous, stretching little story of my own. Amazing book, written from the heart with his usual candor and quirkiness. Read it any time, but savor it best while traveling.

Was the Millwright a Millwright who happened to write poetry or a Poet who happened to work at a mill? Appreciate the diversity of talents and abilities in each individual. Abandon yourself to the strengths of others...Great book so far.

Incredible story. Saw this performed as a one-man drama a few yrs ago. The book is just as gripping.

Moving right along at a snail's pace with my women's group. I found last week's lesson unexpectedly empowering.

It's humbling... I was "above" reading this book for a long while, but It's got some good things to say to women, at least so far...

Very engaging read. Mary Kay was an extraordinary woman. Just loaned my copy to a friend, so further progress is coming to a temporary halt.
