[spoilers] i finished! honesty it’s like a 3.5-4. I had such high hopes. First, the fact that rune so easily forgot that Gideon was compliant in the murdering of witches is insane. It could have easily been real enemies to lovers. Also the whole Alex and rune thing came out of left field at the end. The girl who denied him + never saw him romantically suddenly kissed him and accepted it? I have my thoughts abt it

Ooh that’s actually quite sad

AHHH I really enjoyed this book, like a lot. It felt kinda like instant love but it was a short book and I’m not mad. It was beautiful and Gwen learned to be herself unapologetically with Oskar’s encouragement and love. I REALLY wished there was an epilogue to show where they ended up but I loved it. This makes me want to watch critical role a lot more now, I’ve been an admirer in the shadows for a bit now!
