finally been able to finish brothers karamazov & log all of my semester books

actually, people sometimes talk about man's "bestial" cruelty, but that is being terribly unjust and offensive to the beasts: a beast can never be as cruel as a human being, so artistically, so picturesquely cruel.

i think that if the devil doesn't exist and, consequently, man has created him, he has created him in his own image and likeness.

i'm a bed bug, am i not, an evil insect? in a word - a karamazov!
