I.. am uncertain how I feel about this book lmao. The beginning was just meh and didn't draw me in like I had hoped. I am starting to like the mmc... but overall this book isn't living up to the hype I was expecting. An me saying 'Im starting to like the mmc' almost 70% through the book is a bummer.

I’m hooked! The MMC seems insane and the type that is actually a psychopath which has a perfect addition to the plot. Kind of hoping the fmc becomes powerful with the marriage though and steps into her role as a leaders wife despite her disability.

So far I’m a little over halfway and I get the reason people enjoy this book. It’s a little dark, a lot less dark than little liar and stranger. Overall so far the plot has me hooked and able to guess what topic is being avoided even if it’s annoying, like the elephant In the room people will mention but never actually address.

So far it’s good, I love the personalities of both of the fmcs but it’s been dragged out too much. It was giving a spooky theme and still is, but it’s not actually scary. This red has been giving me the same vibes I got from does it hurt, which was taking too long to get to the point.
