so far so good! the fmc isnt unbearably grouchy and mean, shes actually fun to read in the perspective of! im excited to see how this series goes. if i really like this book i might just break the tule i gave myself this year and buy the 2nd book!

took a break from the book bc ive been so busy. just picked it back up again, and they finally kiss!! "your move, la'chiska" okayyyy!

i still cannot for the life of me picture what the water buffalo fish cow thing was supposed to look like. nothing about it made sense. the more i think about it the more it bothers me.

i hope the new guy comes back bc one chapter wasnt enough. i hope the night empire doesnt find the rest of the sardovian troops but i feel like its gonna happen and its gonna suck for talasyn. oh well.

this new guy tha just showed up better be a love interest bc im getting bored. also i think i like this book more when i take edibles

Getting back into the book. The stakes are now higher and their relationship is starting to bud. I love a good slow burn so let's see how it plays out.

Just finished Part 1. It took me a bit to get into the story when I first started reading. I think its because of all of the new language that the author uses, but doesn't properly explain all of the terminology. I'm not sure how on board I am with the story, but I'm curious to see how the book plays out.
