as someone who likes deep dark effed up books and hardly cries when reading; this one has almost broken me down a few times now UGH i keep having to take breaks cuz it gets so heavy at some points — it’s so good tho🥺

i don’t feel like reading this right now, but i think maybe i’m not understanding the hype, because i’m not solely focusing my attention on this series and have been reading other books (unrelated to the series) between each book to be fully engulfed in what’s going on. hopefully i’m right, and this gets better from here on out. wish me luck
