I'm far enough into this book that I don't want to DNF based on reviews alone but I think I need to start planning a backup... I get scared so easily, I have a feeling I won't last much longer lol

No offense to Mary Shelley or anything, I have a lot of respect for how she was brilliant and spooky when women weren't allowed to be brilliant and spooky, but... I have a feeling K. Ancrum wrote Frankenstein better. I am so hyped for Adam, Mine tomorrow I can't even stand it!

I really love how this story handles grief. I've cried multiple times reading this! The idea of someone watching over you when things feel unbearable is such a comfort. 🥺
