Book is not horrible, but it is SLOW. It is written well, but not enough to bear the slow, wandering pace of Hani and the plot. It feels aimless and repetitive, donkey - sister - dad - war - donkey - sister - dad - war. But nothing has come out of any of it? I went in excited for a Fall of Troy retelling, but there honestly isn’t much of Troy in here
