Putting this on hold for a little while until I can physically read. Try the dramatized audiobook version because I had listened to and enjoyed a few others. However, this one is way too stimulating the music in the background plays for the whole book and it’s louder or just as loud as the narration. 🫠 would love to come back to this, but the dramatized version is not for me with this book.

Realllyyyy trying with this book but man sometimes I think I know what’s going on and then the next I’m like wtf is happening… I just want to read a book not have to flip to the word reference to learn what the Russian mythology word means in modern terms every other page. I will continue on tho for book club !

January read for February book club;

Just started but so far I’m a bit confused 🤔 the names are really messing me up and the writing style of old language and Russian terms for me a little lost thus far 🫠 will keep going for now

Enjoying this more than I anticipated to so far tbh!

Listening to the dramatized audio version! First 25% to me was a little slow but honestly enjoying it so much ! I did appreciate the stay of the book providing background to where she came from her family what happened to her & her dad etc it helped for great story development! Highly suggest the drama audio!!

I’m new to fantasy world of reading and I am starting to understand why it’s so popular! Lol
