Wow this is some great writing and good story line. Kinda refreshing. Like I love when characters can be defined as “stubborn” yet still be able to have logical conversations/ actions instead of lashing out in anger 80% of the book.

The games and trials in this are so different, and relevant to the storyline. I like

The extra povs aren’t necessary. Other than it being a second chance romance, I like the other topic mentioned in this book. So far I give it a 3.5 tho

Is there even a good side to war? In this case no. In other cases yes. But sometimes both sides end up replicating each other under the illusion of good morals but in different ways. “They’re doing it for the people” they say. The desperation is palpable between all characters in this book. I guess when you’re fighting for survival, the intentions of who you are get exposed.
This is one hell of a book.

Just wow. Now that I’m in part 2, some of the puzzle pieces are coming together. The depth, the hurt, the loneliness, the fight, the discovering. It’s all so complex and beautifully written.
This story isn’t for the weak. Like wow

Yeah this is a good book. Booktok has my trust misplaced or I would have read this sooner. But then again, this came again at the right time because I was in a reading slump.
Anyways, I’m very much enjoying this book. One of my fav fantasies that I’ve read in a min. There’s something brewing in the horizon with the plot. Can’t wait

This book is morally and psychologically unhinged. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone but I will finish it cause it’s only 300 pages…

“Turned him on like a light”….bro the author couldn’t write the mmc any lamer with all these lame similes. Honestly the audiobook is turning me off even more, who chose these people to read.

It’s not bad, I think I became accustomed to how fast paced it is. It’s kinda cutesy in a way. A weird twist is happening rn w her father she apparently didn’t recognize and is being oddly territorial after leaving her when she was a kid…? Anywho…sorry if this spoiled the book for you, but it’s not like this is top recommendation or anything.
