What's it with Peeta and smearing things on other things? Like, just because he's good at cake frosting doesn't mean he'll be good at camouflage or painting. That's not how humans work

Didn't expect first person present tense.

I'm all for separating the art from the artist in principle, but with a work that is so lyrical and directly explores ideas of sexual assault, it is hard to enjoy it given the recent allegations. I might pick up the series again in the future but for now, it's a DNF.

It also doesn't help that I had this and 4 other Sandman volumes, along with other more valuable things, stolen on the train.

I think I'm going to have to wait until the end before deciding anything about this one.

Not sure whether I'll be able to finish this chonker for book club :(
