Okay so as soon as Diem went to Umbros she immediately
1. Insulted their old queen whom her Centenaries clearly loved
2. Does not apologise for any of her mistakes and is selfish

Diem has had 0 character growth since the beginning of this series and the beginning of this book AHHHH

Either Penn Cole thinks her readers are stupid or they have amnesia.
Diem and Luther are such a frustrating people. It was agony reading their chapters. Every Diem chapter has a mention of Luther and how much she craves him and every Luther chapter has that about Diem. It feels like nothing new can happen unless and until it is addressed or it will keep coming up

I knew the sisters chapter would be emotional. Siblings are my soft spot. I still liked the prev chapter better though

The story keeps building and building I cant wait to see what happens. The world is huge but I wish it was developed a bit more rather than through the glossary.

So much has happened. Theres still way too many characters to keep track of though its a little easier with the re read of the first part.

The only pet peeve I have is the naming of things in the universe by using a synonym of the subword to be different. Example: hedgepig for hedgehog etc
