Whew, this really is heartrending.

Really interesting though, and historically incredibly significant.

I was initially of the opinion that the graphic novel format was redundant for this story, until I saw that image of a Nazi "Cat" swinging a Jew "mouse" baby against a wall because they cried... My heart bled in a special way that really does justify this format.

Engaging and interesting.

The World building here is very interesting, because it's a creeping apocalypse.

I don't really care about the Earthseed Religion thing, but luckily it's just some poetry at the beginning of each chapter and then it becomes a almost a fable of a young main characters naivete.

"As I looked at the stains on the coral, I recalled some of the eloquent phrases of politicians and newsmen about how "gallant" it is for a man to "shed his blood for his country," and "to give his life's blood as a sacrifice," and so on. The words seemed so ridiculous. Only the flies benefited. "

Truly impressed by this so far.

I'm definitely in, excited to see where this ends.

Okay we're picking up.
Still a quite a few "faceless" characters, makes it a little hard to really feel the impact when something happens to them.

Interesting consideration that the public opinion changes as they are on the way, and cannot be contacted. That's a cool consideration to think about when sending a "fire and forget" military force.

Okay! The world has officially been built. I'm ready for something to happen now...

God I hope the second part of this picks up some, and stops just throwing random characters with random names, that mean nothing in.

Slow start - Interesting world building.

Entirely forgotten from my first read, that this is 2 separate parts.

I've read these before, many years ago. The Original Let's play podcasts.

OOOOOKAY that action REALLY snuck up on me - WELL done :O

It's good so far. Lot's of technical terms, but it's okay. And generally the things you need to understand is explained within a couple of paragraphs of first occurrence.

Hmm there sure hasn't been a lot of interesting things going on yet...

Hmmm I get the warm hug thing. I don't know it just seems a little bland.

I think what sets this apart from Nathan Lowell is that they do actually solve problems in clever ways in Nathan's books, this just seems to occur around our main Characters.
