Cody Lemley is starting You Come Too
Have read about half of the poems in the collection so far. I have resonated specifically with "Good-by and Stay Cold", "Blueberries", "A Passing Glimpse", "The Rose Family", and "A Minor Bird." I've also found that I enjoy reading the poetry aloud to hear the rhythm of the verses as I read them which is unique to anything else I have read. I've enjoyed the heavy nature theme for which Frost is famous.

Finished chapters 10 and 11 today. Dr. Ely focused again on the strides made to combat ICU delirium and the various pioneers who spearheaded studies in the 2000s and 2010s. He discusses the ABCDEFs of ICU care and how it reduces delirium in the critical care setting. Many aspects of critical care that I got to see as I did my rotations in the ICU that I didn’t understand the science behind.

I just finished up chapter 9 where Dr. Ely describes his visit to Odense, Denmark. He discovers that a 'fairy tale' ICU where ventilated patients are not sedated and even walking around the floor. The visit to him was earth shattering as he never would have thought that such a practice could be possible, and he begins to reflect on how he could bring this practice back with him to the US. My favorite chapter so far.
