Yes to post orgasm true feelings of love and co habitation!
Also yay therapy!!

Now for the third act mess up, im waiting for not talking or drugs related

Ah, fake marriage trope

I should've looked closer at the cover but literally looked at it closer and was like " I bet...." and then the half way through plot twist.

Wooo, redhead! Booo exes!

Man, people again need to talk to each other and respect boundaries before the third act life twist

As always, my god, talk to people. Talk to her brothers and your fated partner.
Age gap is just acceptable enough

If I had a nickel for every " youngest daughter falls for a brother of the enemy family" book I read, I'd have at least two nickels. Which isnt a lot, but weird it happened twice

Man, not just the dates and opposite sexes, this whole family needs to sit down and go to therapy

What a hell of a third act twist. Just talk to each other!!

Once again everyone just needs to talk to each other

Gosh darn it these bisexual disasters just need to have an adult conversation.

Man, everyone needs to talk to everyone in this book

They got to learn to just talk to each other! Stop hiding feelings for each other!

I'm not sure of the tropes aside from maybe barista and jock? No age gaps, hes kinda written a lot inconsistently, (jock with a brain maybe?). Some forced " former best friends little sister". But enjoyable fluff .

Turned into Clue but a very nice 1930s flavored family and magical story

People are weirdly competent until they aren't and it feels like stretching it out. Seemingly very disjointed.

Very... disjointed so far. Thrown into a world with little background, and characterizations are inconsistent. A haunted man but has an uneasy relationship with international treaties and rules of engagement?!

How the heck does an AC 130 gun ship have ANY cargo space?!

I didn't realize how much fratricide or generational murder is part and parcel of his stories.

It got really dark really quick, almost darker than his other books.

Finally, a semi realistic magic system that makes sense!
Plus it's initially set in Boston, the Boston Public Library.
And, within the first couple of chapters, McMurdo mentioned! Loving it so far!

Getting mad at this guy's attempt to mess it all up....

JUST BOTH OF YOU ADMIT YOUR FEELINGS!!

If he dies and this turns into a tragedy I swear to god im rioting

Is this whole series just self insertion into the 40s?
Somehow Ian Fleming is fighting the mob in Chicago

This shit is wild. Marxist femme fatale, murder, pregnancies, heights... oof.

Needful Things via the way of College Movies via the way of 13 Reasons Why via a Roller Coaster.

Well then. A super nerd into super intimacy. Id say this was written by a guy but I would be wrong. Good writing overall!

Quarter of the way in and a quick passion scene
. Def more of suspense than romance

Ope, there it is, the first part of the third act " we're all idiots and need to talk to each other"
