This book flows smoothly, quickly. It's a bit up it's own a$$ though. Not surprised the author created study guides for schools to go with it.
The encounters the main character has are interesting. Pulls on the nostalgia strings.
There's some odd brow-beating about moralism happening in places though. Could do without it. They shoehorn in some American Revolution stuff too. My friend had to read this for school.

This is a really good book. Diverse, inventive, stories that aren't afraid to push things. Can't wait to read more by the author.

I'm liking this anthology series so far. It is quite brutal for the target audience. Refreshing. I will read the others.

I like this. The stories are only like 10 pages long, but enough for engagement. Some freaky stuff.

Some of these are pretty good! I passed up on Double Dare to be Scared at the weekend - I may go back for it.

This book is a mystery-with-psychic-powers type story. I'm liking it medium so far. Maybe it will get better.

I hit my reading goal challenge for the year - first time I've read more than 15 books in my life... with time to spare!
