I don't know how to feel about this book.... It's not exactly a horror... Though the MC's anxiety is so bad it ratchets up mine like crazy so maybe that's where the horror comes in 🤣. Grandma got jiggy with a mystical roadrunner and now it wants the MC?

This book is amazing. I am devouring it so fast and the funny part is I just meant to skim it when it got delivered. Instead I just immediately got sucked in.

Everything was fine, everything was great.... Until this part:

Water.
It clung to me like mercury to a magnet. My navel tingled as droplets roved up my legs, and I caught them invading me through every orifice, every break in my skin. My thighs trembled as streams climbed into my p***y as if I was watching myself pee in reverse....

So far I'm not getting the hype

I was enjoying this at first but I find myself growing more and more weary and just wanting it to be over. To the point where I turned it up to 2x speed because the thought of having to listen to 4 1/2 more hours when it feels like the climax of the book already happened is just unbearable.

I have no idea what percentage I'm actually at given that it's an audiobook. I'm in chapter 19.... But why does this book have 4.05? I'm so bored. Is it just me? Do I need to come back to this?
