literaryaura is starting On the Island (On the Island, #1)

I loved the beginning of the book. Survivor meets The Blue Lagoon - both of which I love. However the second half felt just a bit too picture perfect. All the friends and family are ok with the age gap, even the mum, which is quite doubtful in real life. Just the way everything turns out - it's just a bit too wonderful, and frankly a bit boring.
