If I hadn’t read fantasy before this would be an amazing read but unfortunately it’s all beginning to feel so set up. Gabriel constantly asking why atlas is so interested in Lor and there being a queen of the heart district that has mystery around it. Lor having the runt of the heart queen etc. atlas also has to be bad.

- is atlas actually good or is this some facade
- is lor somehow a descendant of the heart throne? The ruby’s shape is the only fragment of who she was before the prison and would explain that she’s different

The prologue of the book is definitely describing Genevieve and Rowin and she states how much she hates him and he argues love and hate are one and the same….is something going to happen where she finds out rowin has secretly had something going on this whole time???

Ellin totally knows rowin is falling for Genevieve but it bothers me how on and off he is
