Ok genuinely it’s so Bangor. Like I was a little sketch of the guys voice but it’s ok. I like his like attitude idk. I love the characters. Eliza said she hates JB but the way JB describes his friends like DUDE u can tell he’s an artist yk. Idk about Malcom I feel bad that his dad doesn’t really like him especially not compared to Flora but he seems a brat. I LOVE WILLEM AND JUDE FALL IN LOVE PLEASE

Dude this book is so funny I love it. It’s scary how much I relate but I’m sure it’s fineee. This chapter was about her sister and how they grew up with faith and such
“There goes my wild sister, I would think, and then I’d go wash my hands fifty times and pray for her soul”

I was just looking through the ocd section in Lowell’s while mama was trading some books in but they were all self help and I wanted to LEARN and I found this book and it’s about a girl growing up with religious ocd so I was like eh maybe I took a picture but planned to leave it but I picked it up again and started reading and it’s so funny in a sad self deprecating way cackling in powells

Chapter 7 is not the weak dude I had to dial in to understand the words but honestly for how complicated this chapter was and could’ve been it was pretty well worded for people who hate science and don’t understand what their teachers are saying most of the time. Also I learned we produce a hormone (?) called oxytocin when we look into a loved one’s eyes and that’s so cute it’s the love hormone 🥹

Ok still super interesting but I learned about PANDAS or PANS or CANS depending on the infection but it’s when a kid gets OCD or movement disorders (similar to tics) from an infection (usually strep) in which the infection tricks the immune system into not only fighting the infection but all ur joints and brain cells which is crazy

I’m listening to it on audiobook cause I was bored of my music and have been trying to research OCD a lot recently and it’s actually pretty easy to understand what they’re saying like usually when I read an info book I can’t listen or I won’t understand but this one is great I like the mini stories in between about different people it helps give like a little example of what they’re saying too.
