The next installment in the Mike Stoneman Thriller series -- book #6; Double Takedown -- will be out this winter. The Goodreads page is now active. My next novel, The Other Murder, is in final editing and will be available for ARC reviews within the next month. I'm really excited about this new one, which meshes a twisty double-murder mystery with some social commentary about the way the media covers crime stories in a big media market and how race and class play a huge factor in what information the public receives. The new novel, "Dead Winner" has reached its first big milestone -- the completion of the first draft. Many, many hours of editing and rewriting ahead, but first hurdle officially cleared! 77,000 words --congratulations, sir, it's a novel!

Now 41,000 words into the first draft of the next book, tentatively titled "Dead Winner." A stand-alone story (not the next book in the Mike Stoneman series), it's a murder mystery you will not figure out until the end. Stay tuned for more in 2022.

Today I hit 200 reviews on Goodreads (for all my books). Nearly 400 ratings, but it seems only about half of the Goodreads readers who post ratings also include a written review. The "big" authors have tens of thousands of reviews, but indie authors like me have to take baby steps. The first 10 . . . the first 50 . . . . the first 100 . . . and now up to 200. It's a nice number. Thanks to everyone who submitted. :)
