It’s hard to put down!

I find it hard putting this book down. I love the characters and of course BOY & GIRL.

Rebecca Clarren writes from her heart! She is searching out her family’s story escaping Russia from Jewish hatred in Russia based on facts, interviews, plots of land given outwardly just to use the land to make money for the government, justifying the cultural genicide of the American Indian. This book needs to be required reading in schools & courses offered describing the relevance in today’s world.

It’s sad to realize how the bad decisions of one country influences action of another.

The book is written with such a deep feeling unlocking a host of historical interlocking events.

I absolutely love how & what Trey writes. It’s like sitting down listening to a friend while having coffee.

I love the statement, that the mouth tells what the heart is full of.....

I’ve learned that it’s okay to have quiet during a conversation...continuous talking doesn’t give the other person a chance to think. Interrupting or finishing another’s statement devalues theirs. I really like this book; it all makes sense & I am guilty.

A time NO body, no BODY should forget....but everyone should know.

The lighter side of living within a family of three girls is needed these days: mother, daughter& grandmother. Not much changes, either. Lisa sees humour in so many mundane experiences.

Leaving your Homeland is never an easy decision or an easy trek. This family holds each other together meeting the hardships of Soviet regime along the way. I’m amazed at the strength of the 10 yr old.

I cannot wait to turn the to the next page. You surely can’t tell a book by its cover, nor a couple by their looks or demeanor. Have you ever asked yourself, “What is she/he REALLY like?”

I’m hooked. I love OOPS! His character is written with so much authenticity.
