So riveting and enthralling. I want MORE. Reminds me of the life of Pi. Who is really correct? Is reality just what we are told to believe so our brains perceive it as such? This book will def be 5 stars

Gosh I love historical horror. As always the scariest horrors are not imagined monsters but the real horrors of humans. I think this will be a great read!

I love the parts about ocean exploration and facts. I remember reading similar books and stories as a kid and hearing them again is nostalgic and a cool way to understand Leah’s worldview

It’s easy to see why people don’t like this book. To me the writing is beautiful and I love how it explores the intricacies of love in everyday life. As someone with a progressive illness it’s been very interesting watching the dynamics of the main characters and their unwavering love.

Pretty meh so far

This book nearly lost me but I kept reading and it sucked me right back in. The magical realism is really interesting and reminds me so much of We’ll Prescribed You a Cat with several short stories connected by a common element. I wasn’t expecting that when I started the book. I feel like if I ever wrote a book it would be unique and disjointed like this. I love this book

I was told this book is weird by the cashier when I bought it. After reading the starving saints I wondered how weird can it be? It’s weird! In the best whimsical fantasy way. It has moments of darkness but overall feels comfy. So far 5 stars and really hoping it stays that way.

I feel like very few people have a physical copy of this book. Sporadically there are errors in printing and cut off words that I wish was caught by an editor. Going between the blatant political commentary of being a young person fresh out of uni (me) and the craziest smut I’ve ever ready is jarring. The main character is in an identical life situation to me currently and that’s…something
