dave cox is the best kind of comic book civilian. he exists to show both how much steve has grown as a character, which is shown in how peggy reacts to his "modern" nonviolent sensibilities, and as a totem of a changing america. it's not subtle by any means (it's a comic book after all) but it proves the worth of this medium to present these slightly more complex political/moral ideas in a very accessible way.

hey now this is some interesting stuff! the falcon has an emotional arc now which is cool and it seems Englehart is commited to portraying these characters as full people. solarr is neat but his name and costume suck tremendously lmao

conway's gone so I'm just reading the rest of this for the love of the game. the clone stuff is resolved here in a way that is super comic booky but mostly works. that final beat is the only way it could have gone truly. good arc now let me at some more peter/mj stuff

really a satisfying conclusion to this entire run. this is conway's last proper issue after all. i do want to know more about what becomes of the gwen clone. also great that they brought up the existential terror implicit in the clone situation and then peter basically makes an active choice to ignore it and live in his old reality lol
