I don't love the start. It feels like there's no breathing room emotionally. From book 1 to 2 the plot was definitely still moving forward but the 'vibes' were slower paced which lead to a good increase to start off with and get into. This one is BAM politics. And dang who are all these people.

Currently re-reading this, first re-read of this. I remember the ending and key points but I miss the small tidbits on how it reached them.

Also the show was pretty good too and now I have a different image of the characters physically.
