Oh, I love this book. I’m trying my best to predict what is going to happen but I know there’s going to be a massive plot twist that I wasn’t suspecting.

I’m already enjoying this book more than the first two combined.

I’m really not enjoying the pacing of this book. It’s told through dual perspectives (in different parts of the world) and the second one of the storylines gets interesting, it flips to the other. This makes for some very choppy chapters and for a lot of repetition in the story. I just want a solid, full chapter of one character’s events before moving onto the next.

“We don’t torture people,” she said, her tone full of ice.
“Carrion tortures me daily,” I muttered.
