Man took me an hour to read from yesterday’s progress… there’s a lot of hard words in here! Is this how they used to write? Or am I not well read. Maybe it’s both, haha

im at the part where lovecraft describes this otherworldly world, theres so. i h vocabulary that i just do not know! this made it a tough read as i tried to visualise it all in my head

I’ve started to ‘dog ear’ this book because of how amazing it is! I’m going to journal about this if I can stop being so lazy… overcome this to be a greater man as Nietzsche said!

So far I’m very much enjoying this book! But my
Pet peeve is that at random times German or French? Idk maybe it’s just German I can’t differentiate terms just come out and I can’t understand them!

It’s too complex, I have to keep re reading but I won’t stop learning! I think I’ll put my ego down and revisit the first chapter all over again. So no updates on this book for awhile K? Uhh I hope to finish before year end of course

Hard read… I made it past chapter one, though I would say I only learned, or rather, internalised 25% of the contents… a second reading is needed to learn more. I’m finally at chapter 2! But I’ll probably restart the chapter since I’m having a hard time understanding Cartesian dualism

Woowee it’s a really hard read. This book, progress is so slow.. this is my first time reading philosophy and my introduction to philosophy. I have learnt a lot from this book. Whenever I finish a chapter, I feel relief, I feel happy like WOW I finished this part of the chapter. I feel like understand the works but it’s hard for me to articulate right now what I learnt. I guess I have to do more practice..

So far when I read the book, I still feel tired, drained, I have to re read it multiple times but there are moments I have this sudden realisation “omg I finally get it” we will see how this goes. So far I don’t understand the purpose of this book, it is guiding me to understand the ideas. It’s very ambiguous
