Joan Porter is on page 15 of 144 of Where Hope Takes Root: Democracy and Pluralism in an Interdependent World
Pulled this book from my bookshelf to read again. The words in these speeches are still very relevant and inspirational.

Couldn't finish this. When the protagonist got caught in an interactive video game it lost me.

Joan Porter is on page 375 of 488 of Mansfield Park
Couldn't finish this. Just too slow. Great writing, very floral, but didn't seem to be going anywhere. I am rather glad not to have lived in this culture where days were spent deciding what dress to wear to an event.

Not as good as Celestine Prophecy or Journey to Shambala. Found it a little rambling. difficult to locate the message.
