i am ready for this book to be done 😭

This book is hard to read for me because it’s very stream-of-consciousness but in a way that I find hard to follow. The time jumps also happen very often to the point where I don’t know if I’m supposed to know a piece of information yet or not. The story is absolutely phenomenal though, and I’m excited for the rest of it.

I’m about halfway through this book, read it on the plane, gonna read the rest on my next flight. I’m liking it so far 🥳 I feel very involved in the old man’s story and I like how frank everything is.

This book has a very interesting climax. It almost felt too unrealistic to take seriously. It also takes itself very very seriously, which is tough for me. Overall, I’m still really liking it, but i’m feeling conflicted on how I feel about the story.

Taking my time, the story was in a lull for a bit, but it’s beginning to pick back up which is very exciting.

First time I’ve read a book in literally years. Enjoying it very much so far. Horrifically sad and very triggering.
