Eric Bischoff is on page 40 of 217 of What is Reformed Theology?: Understanding the Basics
So refreshing. I like what he is saying a whole lot more than what I hear from those involved in Missional theology and Neo-Calvinism

What is Reformed Theology?: Understanding the Basics

Eric Bischoff is on page 45 of 265 of Rediscovering Jonah: The Secret of God's Mercy
I'm hoping this book gets better. So far, he is attempting to relate certain aspects of Jonah's story to a believer's life in current times, and it just isn't working for me; yet.

Eric Bischoff is on page 76 of 240 of The Future of Justification: A Response to N. T. Wright
Piper is doing a marvelous job of breaking down how Wright's rebuttal of imputed righteousness makes no sense when simply presented in a law court setting. God's righteousness is mainly about bringing glory to His Great Name. If that is the true focus of righteousness, then it makes perfect sense for God's righteousness to be imputed to sinful man through the work of Jesus Christ.

Eric Bischoff is on page 25 of 213 of Loved by God
The only way to relate to God and His love is anthropomorphically, or analogously. God is transcendent, and so is His love. He is otherly, but not wholly otherly. To be wholly otherly would be to have no relation with humans; but since we are created in His image, He is otherly, yet there can be some similarities. He condescends to help us communicate with Him, and help us understand His transcendent love.

Eric Bischoff is on page 40 of 237 of The Deepest Place: Suffering and the Formation of Hope
Those robbed of healthy attachments in their younger years may be more prone to suffering than those who have had the "four s'". Healthy attachment is regained through the peace made through Jesus. Some parts of our being could still be warring against God, but Jesus wants those areas to have peace through an embodied relationship with Him and His body.
