I’m actually enjoying this novella now more so than I did at the beginning. It’s a necessary break from the high energy, action-packed nature of the books it’s sandwiched between, and quite perfect to read at this time of year. It is simply ironic to me that this 229 page novella has taken me much longer to read than its 700+ page predecessor!
